Oak Wilt Suppression Project

This project allows landowners to receive partial funding for efforts to stop the spread of oak wilt, a devastating fungal disease of red oaks and live oaks. Texas A&M Forest Service offers technical and financial assistance, up to 40% of the cost, to remove infected red oaks and trench around infected oaks to stop the expansion of oak wilt centers.
